Crisis Prevention and Response Team

Saint Joseph’s Crisis Prevention and Response Team (CPRT) provides compassionate, community-based support for individuals in Westchester County who are experiencing—or are at risk of experiencing—a mental health crisis. Our interdisciplinary team includes licensed mental health professionals, a child and family specialist, and a psychiatrist, all working together to provide timely and appropriate care.

The team offers 24/7 telephone support and in-person evaluations in homes or other community settings seven days a week. Walk-in evaluations are also available around the clock at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Harrison. Services are available in both English and Spanish.

Whether providing crisis intervention, supportive counseling, or helping individuals connect with ongoing mental health services, the CPRT is committed to preventing psychiatric emergencies, reducing unnecessary hospitalizations, and supporting individuals and families through challenging moments.
