YONKERS, NY (May 2024) –In recognition of National Nurses Week (May 6-May 12) Saint Joseph’s Medical Center officials recently presented awards to eight members of the hospital’s outstanding nursing staff.
The awards ceremony, which was held May 8 at the hospital, was attended by members of the nursing staff and Nick Chiarella, who represented Mayor Mike Spano’s office. He presented to Ann Marie Moynihan, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, citations for the nurses as well as a proclamation.
Those receiving the citations were:
Friend of Nursing: Yuly Belchikov and Yoel Lima
Spirit of Caring: Althea Brown and Rosa Carroll
A-Team: Christine McGuinness-Moore, Director of Utilization Management
Rising Star: Merlin Joseph
Nursing Excellence: Pauline Lacambra and Paul Perdigon
