YONKERS, NY (April 2024) — Saint Joseph’s Medical Center has announced the appointment of Ann Marie Moynihan, DNP, MSN, APRN, NEA-BC, ONC, as the new Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer. As Chief Nursing Officer, she will lead strategic initiatives and drive quality improvement to enhance patient care.

Moynihan was previously Senior Director of Nursing – Acute Care and Ambulatory for NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital where she held numerous Director of Nursing positions since 2013.

“With her extensive nursing leadership experience, Ann Marie Moynihan brings a wealth of expertise to our team. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our organization,” said Saint Joseph’s Medical Center President and CEO Michael J. Spicer.

Moynihan is an experienced nurse leader with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry. She is skilled in process improvements, clinical research, patient safety, Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), orthopedic nursing, acute and ambulatory care.

Moynihan holds a Doctorate in Nursing and Executive Leadership from George Washinton University and a Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner-Adult/Gerontology Practice from New York University.

She is a member of the following professional organizations: Northeast Local Networking Group for the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing; American Organization of Nursing Leadership; New York Organization of Nurse Executive Leaders, Greater New York, Nassau, Suffolk Organization of Nurse Executives and Leaders; American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

A native of Riverdale, Moynihan was a resident of McLean Avenue and Woodlawn and is currently a resident of Yorktown Heights.
