Overview
The Griffin House senior housing program for frail and low income elderly is located across the street from the hospital. The complex is named after a prominent couple, William and Margaret Griffin who have been generous to Saint Joseph’s and to the Community. This 81-unit complex has been made possible by a $12 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Griffin House provides safe, affordable housing for the increasing senior population in Yonkers, as well as access to needed health services.
