Dr. Iturbe-Ortiz brings extensive experience and a profound commitment to addressing health disparities. She earned her medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Puerto Rico Pediatric Hospital. Following her training, she practiced as a general pediatrician in Connecticut.
In addition to providing high-quality pediatric care at the Family Health Center, Dr. Iturbe-Ortiz will be the collaborating physician for Saint Joseph’s School Based Health Programs in Yonkers which include: Martin Luther King, Jr., Academy, Eugenio Maria de Hostos Microsociety, Rosemarie Ann Siragusa School, Cesar Chavez School and the new Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School.
