Opioid Treatment Services
Our Opioid Treatment Centers are licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). Admissions are derived from walk-ins, referrals from other programs, the courts, Ryker’s Island and Human Resources Administration.
The treatment approach is based on the “disease concept” of substance use disorder using pharmacotherapy with Methadone Hydrochloride or Buprenorphine. Our primary goal is to help patients achieve a substance-free lifestyle. The treatment approach is a well-proven, coordinated and effective method to managing substance use.
An interdisciplinary staff qualified and competent to deliver service to meet the individual needs of patients is assigned to each site, including physicians, clinical directors, nurses, counselors and support staff. Services include but are not limited to:
- Medical/Physical Assessment
- Mental Health Assessment & Referral
- Individual and Group Counseling
- Vocational Testing, Training and Counseling
- Health Education
- Social Service Referral
- HIV/AIDS/Infectious Disease Services
