Visiting Hours
All visitors must wear face coverings at all times, regardless of visitor of patient vaccination status for influenza or COVID-19. Visitors will have temperature checks upon entering the facility via temperature scanner. If temperature of 100 degree is detected by the scanner, front desk staff will call the nurse manager to perform a temporal temperature scan. If the visitor has a temporal temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, the visitor will be denied entry. Visitors also will be denied entry if they report exposure to or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 during the prior 10 days.
Inpatient Areas
Visitors age 12 and older are permitted in the inpatient areas (including the Intensive Care Unit) daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the exception of the behavioral health inpatient units (please see below). Visitors are restricted to one person at a time at the patient's bedside. Children must be accompanied by an adult and be directly supervised at all times. Parents for pediatric patients may come at any time and stay over with their child. It may be necessary at times to ask visitors to leave the room during patient care activities or for emergencies.
Behavioral Health Services
Visiting hours on Hall 2 and Hall 3 are daily from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., including holidays. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age or older. Family members are encouraged to make an appointment.
Automated Teller Machine
An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is located in the Main Lobby for the banking convenience of visitors.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria is open Monday through Friday and is located on the second floor of the hospital. Our cafeteria offers a wide variety of hot and cold foods and beverages,including a daily freshly prepared soup choice and assorted pre-packaged “To Go” sandwiches and salads, for the convenience of our medical staff, employees and visitors. All visitors must carry their passes when they use the cafeteria. Visitors are reminded that food should not be brought to patients. Our cafeteria hours are as follows:
· Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
· Coffee and Snacks: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
· Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
· Grill: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
Visitors may also purchase beverages and snacks from vending machine located in the cafeteria foyer.
Chapel
A Chapel for prayer, quiet meditation and reflection is located on the First Floor of the hospital. The Chapel is open 24 hours a day.
Communication
Especially for patients in the Intensive or Intermediate Care Units, please designate one person as a communication link between the family/support person and the patient’s doctor or nurse.
Flowers, Mail and Gift Deliveries
As permitted by the physician, flowers, mail and gifts will be delivered to the patients room. Neither flowers nor balloons are permitted in the Intensive or Intermediate Care Units.
Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is located off the Main Lobby of the hospital and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Visitors will find an assortment of greeting cards, reading material, personal grooming necessities, snacks and gift ideas. You may also arrange regular newspaper delivery while you are hospitalized by calling the Gift Shop at ext. 7529.
Parking
Parking is available for an hourly fee in the hospital garage on Vark Street across from the Main Entrance to the hospital. For your safety and convenience, the garage features an enclosed pedestrian walkway across Vark Street. Handicapped parking is available.
Security
For your safety and security, patients and visitors may be asked for identification. We also reserve the right to inspect packages on entry and exit.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any hospital facility.
Waiting Room and Lounges
A visitors’ waiting room is located on the lobby level across from the Ambulatory Surgery Unit. There are also waiting rooms for you and your visitors on nursing floors 4, 5, and 6. There is also a quiet room on the 7th floor, near the Intensive and Intermediate Care Units.
